Our team operates in an Infrastructure-as-a-Service model, supporting multiple product units. Our goal is to build intuitive, easy-to-use self-service solutions and provide reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient database infrastructure for game product teams
You will be responsible for developing and evolving PostgreSQL as a core infrastructure component across the company - from analyzing the current state of systems to implementing architectural changes that improve performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency

Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable database infrastructure for multiple game product teams
Develop and operate PostgreSQL environments, ensuring stability, performance, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency
Participate in architectural improvements and migrations involving both managed and self-hosted database solutions
Work with scaling challenges and high-load production environments
Analyze and optimize infrastructure costs, including evaluating trade-offs between managed and self-hosted solutions
Automate database operations and environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code and scripting tools
Support and improve existing solutions involving PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS RDS, ElastiCache, and MemoryDB
Handle incidents and complex production cases together with product and infrastructure teams
Collaborate closely with development teams to understand their needs and reduce the operational burden of working with data infrastructure
Contribute to reliability, security, and best practices across the company's database landscape
