5+ years of experience in product design or equivalent experience
Ability to communicate designs through sketches, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and prototypes
Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other design tools (we primarily use Figma)
Experience in planning and executing comprehensive user research and testing cycles
Technical design expertise: designing systems and applying systems thinking
Collaborative and adaptable mindset
Demonstrated experience in influencing leadership regarding design direction by using data and user feedback to justify decisions
Openness and authenticity, paired with strong communication skills
Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and better internet security
An online portfolio or examples of work showcasing a variety of artifacts created in developing UX solutions
Startup experience
Experience designing for security-focused applications
Experience designing products for both B2C and B2B customers
Content strategy or technical product writing skills
Experience with WCAG guidelines
Experience with developing and evangelizing design systems
Cross-platform design experience
