7+ years building and shipping production systems, full stack
A track record of owning problems end-to-end, not just executing tickets, but defining and delivering
Strong instincts across the stack: you're comfortable going deep on backend logic, database design, and frontend UX in the same sprint
Fluency with relational databases and search fundamentals
A hands-on, daily relationship with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) - you've figured out how to move meaningfully faster with them
Experience at a fast-moving startup or SaaS company
Familiarity with distributed systems concepts: queues, event-driven architecture, horizontal scaling
Exposure to our current stack (Elixir/Phoenix, React, PostgreSQL), or genuine curiosity to pick it up fast
