As a Lead Software Engineer , you will serve as a technical authority across entire business domains, shaping company-wide engineering strategy and driving the architectural evolution of large-scale distributed systems that power our core platform for tens of millions of customers. While we value experience with our tech stack, we are confident that top-tier technical leaders who are eager to learn will thrive here — and we will support your mastery of Clojure as our main backend language
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
1. Architectural Leadership: Defining long-term technical vision and architecture roadmaps across business area, balancing immediate business goals with long-term system sustainability
2. Strategic Alignment: Partnering with Leaders to translate team business strategy into scalable engineering systems and technical bets
3. Engineering Excellence: Setting and raising the technical bar for the entire engineering organization through systemic improvements, architectural reviews, and best-practice frameworks
4. High-Impact Execution: Hands-on leadership in designing, prototyping, and executing on the most complex, high-risk, or foundational systems in the company
5. Mentorship & Talent Growth: Mentoring engineers
6. Cross-Organizational Resilience: Establishing team practices for observability, failure domain isolation, disaster recovery, and incident resolution for critical systems
