What you'll work on
Game features
Translating game designer specs into robust technical designs; implementing new mechanics
end-to-end from RFC to production monitoring.
Core
Designing and developing backend modules and APIs; refactoring legacy code; driving architectural
decisions across the platform.
Framework
Building the SDK and tools that other backend teams rely on; designing S2S communication protocols;
working on high-load distributed services and developer experience.
Conduct code and design reviews.
Write unit and integration tests.
Prepare and review technical documentation (RFCs / ADRs).
Contribute to team engineering practices.
5+ years of C++ experience in a product company.
Solid knowledge of software design principles: SOLID, YAGNI / KISS / DRY, common patterns.
Practical experience with network and multithreaded programming.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
Comfortable working in Linux environments.
Ability to decompose complex tasks and write clear technical documentation.
English B1 or higher.
Nice to have
Experience with Go, Java, Kotlin, C#, Rust, or Python.
Gamedev background.
Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design.
Experience designing large-scale distributed systems or platform / SDK components.
Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalents.
