Architectural Vision: Define and drive the technical strategy for the entire Applications Portfolio, establishing deep frontend architecture standards (Web, Mobile, Headless) to ensure consistency, scalability, and performance
Mentorship & Leadership: Act as a key mentor and coach to senior engineering talent, fostering a culture of technical excellence, high-impact decision-making, and proactive problem-solving
Product-Engineering Synergy: Collaborate deeply with Product leadership to drive roadmaps, ensuring engineering strategy is inherently aligned with customer needs and product evolution
Strategic Alignment: Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams regarding goals, outcomes, and timelines for complex, multi-team projects
Technology Transformation: Spearhead the evolution of our application architecture from a 'feature factory' model to a platform-driven system, modernizing API layers and integrating emerging standards like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable next-generation agentic workflows
Design Systems Partnership: Partner closely with Design Systems teams to define and influence the evolution of shared UI components and design tokens, ensuring seamless integration with engineering architectural standards
Technical Governance: Identify and reduce systemic technical risks, enforce design principles, and raise the bar through hands-on technical reviews and prototyping
