Deep knowledge and experience in designing and shipping compact, efficient battery-powered systems with RF connectivity and challenging industrial design constraints is ideal. Experience with IoT devices, custom silicon, or ML accelerators is a plus
Own & drive the development of the electrical architecture, design, prototyping, and development of one or more hardware systems (MCU/SOC/FPGA, battery, sensing, RF, Audio)
Contribute to hardware process and tool flow definition, hardware vendor engagement, and management
Serve as a domain expert on one or more areas of electrical design, such as audio, DSP, battery, RF, or sensing
Define hardware roadmaps, architectures, trade-offs, specifications, development plans, and evaluation methods for wearable electronics
Hands-on PCBA design and bring-up: component selection, schematic, layout, assembly, bring-up, test/debug, and integration into larger systems
Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, UX, and machine learning partners to define, evaluate, and optimize hardware systems
Identify, evaluate, engage, and drive partners and vendors to accelerate hardware development
