Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java or Go. Basic understanding of Linux fundamentals and computer architecture concepts (willingness to deepen this knowledge on the job)

Exposure to storage protocols such as NFS, SMB, iSCSI, or NVMe-oF

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Contribute to Engineering Efforts: Work with your team on cloud storage features, helping to implement well-scoped pieces of larger projects as defined by product and engineering leads
Software Development: Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with guidance from senior engineers. Contribute to design documentation for the features you work on. Participate in testing and rollout of software across the stack, from bare metal to user-facing APIs
Technical Contribution: Take part in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback), and participate in architecture and design discussions to build your understanding of the broader system
Continuous Learning: Actively grow your technical skills through mentorship, pairing, and collaboration with teammates. Ask questions, seek feedback, and build foundational knowledge in distributed storage systems
