4+ years of professional experience writing production Go (Golang) for backend systems
Proven experience building and operating distributed backend systems in production
Strong understanding of backend architecture and API design
Experience designing relational database schemas and working with SQL
Experience building production web applications, services, and/or APIs
Ability to independently own technical problems from design through production
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences
Collaborative, low-ego approach to engineering and problem-solving
Experience with one or more of the following is highly valued
PostgreSQL
Kubernetes
CI/CD pipelines
API-driven development
Observability tooling, including metrics, alerting, logging, and distributed/request tracing
Python and/or Python-based data pipelines
Early-stage startup environments, particularly Seed through Series B
High-stakes or highly regulated domains such as fintech, security, identity, fraud, or risk
