Evaluating, recommending, and implementing a public status page using New Relic Synthetics as the uptime monitoring source, including component-level alert policies and incident workflows
Managing monitoring and alerting infrastructure as code using Terraform, following the client's existing conventions and patterns
Supporting live production changes and migrations on AWS ECS Fargate, including service migrations, load balancer changes, and cluster-level changes with zero or minimal downtime
Owning release engineering for client-facing deliverables: design and manage safe, repeatable release processes (deployment strategies, health checks, automated rollback, release governance and change management)
Contributing to the ongoing migration from CircleCI to GitHub Actions across 111 repositories by integrating new pipelines into reusable workflow templates
Embeding security and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using Snyk and SonarQube (SAST, dependency/vulnerability scanning, code quality) as part of the release process
Working closely with development teams and leading a dedicated DevOps team. The role is focused on delivering and supporting client-facing products rather than working exclusively on internal infrastructure
Taking ownership of tasks end-to-end: understand the problem, define the approach, implement the solution, and drive it through to production safely
Making independent technical decisions, communicating trade-offs clearly, and ensuring reliable execution in production environments
Experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role, with strong hands-on experience in AWS for 7+ years
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Amazon ECS/Fargate, including Service Connect, Graviton/multi-architecture builds, cluster design, ALB/NLB, target groups, and deployment strategies
Strong release engineering and production change experience, including live migrations, zero-downtime deployments, blue/green, canary and staged rollouts, health checks, automated rollback, blast-radius management, and release governance
Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, composite actions, and OIDC/IAM integration
Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, including working within established IaC architectures, conventions, and patterns
Experience with New Relic (Synthetics, alert policies, APIs/webhooks, NerdGraph) or comparable observability platforms such as Datadog or Grafana
Experience integrating Snyk and SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines for SAST, dependency/vulnerability scanning, and quality gates
Experience with OpenAPI tooling and docs-as-code pipelines
Strong senior-level ownership and autonomy, with the ability to take tasks from problem definition through production deployment with minimal supervision and work responsibly with elevated production access
Strong technical judgment and communication skills, including the ability to assess risks, evaluate trade-offs, and make well-founded recommendations with incomplete information
Kubernetes experience is not required; the platform is primarily based on ECS/Fargate
Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above
Experience with API documentation and developer portal tools such as Stoplight Elements or ReadMe
Experience with status-page platforms such as Atlassian Statuspage or Better Stack
Hands-on experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from CircleCI to GitHub Actions
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry
Experience with AWS Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation and SAM
Mature experience with AI-assisted development workflows, including the ability to critically review, verify, and validate AI-generated output and explain the resulting implementation and technical decisions to the team
