5–7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with significant time spent on platform, infrastructure, or shared services (e.g., data platforms, API platforms, developer platforms, or similar)
Experience working with cloud-native architectures and highly distributed systems; familiarity with how platform decisions impact reliability, performance, cost, and security
Proven experience defining and executing go-to-market strategy for platform or API / data products, including positioning, packaging, pricing, and launch planning
Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to translate platform capabilities into clear value propositions, customer narratives, and enablement
Experience creating and scaling internal platforms that serve multiple product teams or business units, OR externalized platforms / APIs used directly by customers and partners
Technical background or strong technical fluency; you can work closely with engineering on APIs, data models, integration patterns, and system tradeoffs
Experience within a SaaS company required; experience in security, identity, fraud, or risk is a plus but not required
Proven track record of successful product or platform launches and meaningful impact on adoption, usage, or business outcomes
Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dig into details, understand edge cases, or help unblock teams
Strong leadership and communication skills — you can bring clarity to complex technical topics and drive alignment across engineering, product, GTM, and executive stakeholders
Transparent and open about what works and what doesn’t; you use data and feedback to iterate quickly
