You have 2+ years of experience developing Android applications using Kotlin
You have hands-on experience building production apps with Jetpack libraries such as Compose
You have a working knowledge of testing frameworks like Espresso and understand the value of unit, integration, and E2E testing
You are familiar with Android architecture patterns and have applied them to create maintainable and scalable codebases
You have contributed to consumer-facing mobile applications at scale, ideally with multimedia or streaming experiences
You have experience debugging complex issues and navigating large, modular codebases using established engineering best practices
You possess a strong grasp of Git workflows and are comfortable working in modern CI/CD practices
You are familiar with Agile methodologies and working within a cross-functional team setup
You have participated in an on-call rotation and understand what it means to build resilient systems that reduce operational burden over time
You are test-driven and have experience using agentic tools to enhance development efficiency

Our Android Team plays a key role in reaching fans wherever they watch, ensuring a consistent, performant, and engaging experience. We work closely with cross-functional partners to develop scalable features that serve millions of anime fans worldwide.
