Experience with developer tooling, static analysis, application security, or LLM-based applications would be a plus. Familiarity with languages and ecosystems beyond the JVM – such as C++, Rust, JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, .NET, or Go – would also be valuable
Deep, practical knowledge of JVM development (such as Kotlin or Java)
Experience designing and implementing complex algorithms or handling performance-critical backend architectures
Fluent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members globally
First 3 months: You will get familiar with the Qodana codebase and the IntelliJ Platform architecture, delivering your first set of analysis rules and integrations
First 6 months: You will take full ownership of specific analysis features, collaborating with neighboring teams to design robust solutions for complex codebases
Long term: You will help shape the technical direction of Qodana Core, continuously raising the bar for static analysis performance and developer experience
