Our traction Since 2020, we've generated tens of millions in revenue and processed over a billion dollars of online orders. 1 in 5 Americans have used an Owner.com website. More importantly, we’ve helped over 20,000 restaurant owners, and saved them nearly $200 million in fees. Our team is now in the low hundreds. We’ve got top talent from the most successful companies in SMB software, including: Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, ServiceTitan, Rappi, Faire and Stripe. We’ll be scaling even faster in 2026 to keep pace with our customer growth. Where we work Owner is a remote-first, global company headquartered in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in-person collaboration at one of our office locations. Most of our teammates are distributed throughout the globe. Why we’re looking for you We’re looking for a senior engineer who gets excited about operating at real scale — not just shipping a single mobile app, but owning the platform and distribution system behind thousands of them. Our Guest App powers thousands of branded restaurant apps across iOS and Android, and we ship tens of thousands of releases every month through Apple and Google’s ecosystems. These apps are a key channel for restaurant owners — a direct way to build customer relationships and avoid expensive third-party delivery fees. We’re building an app experience that can compete with the best third-party apps, but it has to scale across tens of thousands of restaurants (and growing). Behind every release is a complex web of build pipelines, certificates, store workflows, compliance requirements, and operational safeguards — and we’re investing in making this system world-class. We’re turning our Guest App into a true mobile platform: one that engineers across the company can confidently build on, and one that reliably ships changes to production at massive scale. This role is at the center of that transformation — improving developer experience, strengthening release automation, and increasing distribution reliability across thousands of live apps.
