High school diploma + 5 years of experience or BS/BA + 2 years of experience
2–5 years of experience in security operations, SIEM engineering, or related fields
Hands-on experience with at least one SIEM platform
Exposure to detection engineering or SOC workflows
Experience working with log data and security telemetry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a client-facing consulting environment. Strong documentation and organizational skills
Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools, to work smarter, solve problems, and drive better business outcomes
SIEM vendor certifications (Splunk, Google SecOps, Elastic, etc.), SOAR vendor certifications (Splunk SOAR, XSOAR, Fusion, SentinelOne HyperAutomation, Torq, Tines), Observability vendor certifications (Cribl, Onum, Databahn, Dynatrace, Datadog)
