We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data team and design scalable, cloud-native data solutions using AWS.
About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain AWS data infrastructure that powers analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with Data Analysts and Data Scientists, leading technical initiatives and building scalable, high-performance data solutions.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
•4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including production environments on AWS.
•Strong experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data lakes.
•Expertise with AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lake Formation, and Kinesis.
•Advanced Python, SQL, and PySpark skills.
•Experience with Apache Airflow, Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform), and Git.
•Experience supporting Data Analytics and Data Science teams.
•Knowledge of AWS security, monitoring, and cost optimization best practices.
•Advanced English (B2+ or higher).
•AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Data Analytics, or Database Specialty) are a plus.
•Must be currently located in Colombia.
