Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of hands-on reliability engineering experience, preferably in electromechanical systems or sensors
Proven track record in testing and validating hardware components for long-term field performance
Strong understanding of physics of failure and reliability engineering principles, particularly for electronic, optical, or mechanical systems
Experience with environmental and mechanical stress testing, including test design, execution, and result interpretation
Familiarity with reliability analysis tools and techniques: FMEA, Weibull analysis, SPC, HALT/HASS, and accelerated life testing
Proficiency in scripting or automation using tools such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW
Experience working with reliability test equipment such as environmental chambers, vibration tables, thermocouples, strain gauges, and data acquisition systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with design, systems, manufacturing, and test teams
