Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages (C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or similar), with solid experience designing and building APIs and microservices
Full-stack capability — comfortable owning backend services and able to work in a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework when a feature calls for it, without a primary UI focus
Hands-on, day-to-day experience using Claude Code (or comparable agentic AI coding tools) to design, build, and review software at high velocity, with the judgment to critically review what the tools produce
Hands-on AWS experience building and operating production services (e.g., compute, IAM, managed data stores), with sound reliability and cost awareness
Understanding of CI/CD and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Familiarity with data modeling and working with data at scale
Solid grasp of modern testing and observability practices in cloud environments
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make progress amid ambiguity
Good communication and collaboration skills across technical and cross-functional conversations
Domain experience in identity security: IAM, NHI/Secrets, cloud IAM (AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID), OAuth/OIDC
Experience with event-driven architecture, graph data modeling, or analytics at scale
Experience building multi-tenant services consumed by other engineering teams
Familiarity with a modern JavaScript framework (Angular, React, or Vue with TypeScript)
