Чем предстоит заниматься

Work closely with customer engineering teams to lead and contribute to Neo4j implementations across the full project lifecycle, from initial design through to production roll-out

Act as the technical subject matter expert on consulting engagements, providing hands-on guidance and technical leadership for succeeding with Neo4j technology

Design and implement graph data models that represent complex relationships and support high-performance querying and analytics

Architect and build solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements using Neo4j

Support modern data and AI architectures by structuring graph data to enable advanced analytics, search, and emerging AI patterns such as RAG/GraphRAG

Collaborate with customer AI and data teams to integrate Neo4j into modern orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex

Provide guidance to customers on best practices for Data Engineering, focusing on optimizing data ingestion patterns into Neo4j

Develop solution architectures that address the technical requirements of customer projects

Translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for customer engineers and stakeholders

Contribute to solution proposals, level of effort assessments, SOWs and technical recommendations for customer engineering and leadership teams

Train and mentor customer teams on Neo4j best practices and graph development techniques

Work collaboratively with Neo4j sales, sales engineering and support teams to ensure successful customer outcomes

Travel may be required depending on customer engagement needs

Languages: Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and proficiency in English is required for this role. Fluency or advanced skills/proficiency in Spanish is considered a strong plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)

3+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-class applications, with a focus on data-driven or analytics-focused systems

Strong experience in data modelling and designing data structures for complex applications, with familiarity across relational, NoSQL, or graph databases

Experience designing scalable software architectures and working within modern application development environments

Practical experience data engineering and structuring and optimizing data for modern search, analytics, or AI-driven applications

Competence and hands-on experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or C#

Experience deploying applications on modern platforms such as Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes

Familiarity with source control and development workflows using tools such as Git

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts in customer settings

Confidence presenting technical solutions and building strong customer relationships

Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional organization

Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and development approaches

Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

2+ years working in a consultative capacity in a Professional Services organization

Industry experience in Financial Services, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Technology

Experience working with graph databases such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, JanusGraph, or similar technologies

Familiarity with Snowflake or Databricks, and NoSQL/Relational providers such as MongoDB, Couchbase, or Teradata

Experience in data science related projects and packages e.g. SciLearn, Keras, TensorFlow etc

Experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Job Title: Consulting Engineer

Role Overview: As a Consulting Engineer at Neo4j, you will work closely with enterprise customers to implement graph-powered solutions, contributing to all phases of the Neo4j implementation within their projects, from inception to roll-out. Partnering with customer engineering teams and Neo4j Principal/Senior Consulting Engineers, you will design graph data models, and help deliver successful Neo4j implementations from initial design through to production deployment.
