6+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable, production-grade applications
Experience troubleshooting Kafka-based event-driven systems, including producers, consumers, consumer groups, replay strategies, and failure recovery
Experience designing and developing APIs, distributed microservices, and event-driven systems using Kafka
Experience in full-stack development using TypeScript and Node.js, with a track record of delivering customer-facing products end-to-end
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning for high-volume applications
Experience building and operating cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, AWS, and modern CI/CD practices
Experience implementing and optimizing search functionality using Elasticsearch
Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to independently own complex technical initiatives
Experience working with Python/PySpark or similar technologies to support data processing workflows is preferred
Experience working with Golang
Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), familiarity with RAG architectures, or modern AI frameworks such as LangChain or Vercel AI SDK is also preferred
