Suno is growing fast, and we’re hiring Staff and Senior Software Engineers to work on the products that define how people experience music on our platform. We have multiple teams tackling different dimensions of this challenge — from how content reaches users, to how users connect with each other, to how AI gives music a visual identity
You’ll apply once, and during the interview process we’ll work with you to find the team that’s the best mutual fit based on your background, technical strengths, and what gets you excited. What all of these teams share: they’re building consumer-facing products at scale, they own their systems end-to-end, and they thrive on rapidly turning ambiguous problems into world class production-grade products. They have a nose for impact, and take on work from the 2-character performance fixes all the way through introducing brand new company-wide products, directly driving Suno’s top-line company goals
Own products and systems end-to-end — from scoping what to build, to shipping, to monitoring and iterating post-launch
Build backend and full-stack systems that serve millions of users with high performance and reliability
Design clean, scalable APIs consumed by web, iOS, and Android clients
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and peer engineering teams
Run experiments, instrument metrics, and make data-informed decisions about what to build next
Communicate proactively and with high bandwidth — concise & information-dense async updates, stakeholder alignment, low entropy
Raise the technical bar through code quality, architectural thinking, crisp abstractions, and mentorship
AREAS YOU COULD WORK ON
We’re hiring across several product areas. During the process, we’ll match you to the one that fits best. Here’s a flavor of the kinds of problems our teams are solving
Building and optimizing content feeds, playback systems, and discovery experiences that make listening on Suno feel instant and personalized
Creating the social layer that turns Suno from a creation tool into a creative network — profiles, follow graphs, engagement notifications, publishing flows, and new social formats
Developing AI-powered visual products that give music a visual identity — generative cover art, AI music videos, and image-to-video experiences using cutting-edge inference models all the while inventing novel interface design patterns that keep the human front-and-center
Partnering with recommendation systems to make content more personalized and relevant over time
Designing mobile-first APIs and working hand-in-hand with iOS and Android engineers
Reducing inference costs and latency for AI-generated content at consumer scale
