We are an impactful, highly collaborative team dedicated to advancing the field of security and compliance. This is a hybrid position in NYC

Secureframe highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. For office-based employees (employees who live within a defined radius of a Secureframe office), Secureframe considers working in the office, approximately 30% of the time under current policy, to be an essential function of the employee's role

Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering stakeholders to uphold a high quality standard in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Step into a product management role when needed to ensure that our solutions meet our high standards

Develop full stack features that address complex technical challenges, integrating both frontend and backend aspects to enhance user experience and system reliability

Engage in all phases of project lifecycle, from planning to deployment, including code reviews and performance optimization

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers, helping them advance their skills and careers

5+ years of professional software development experience

Proficient in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and a modern backend language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript)

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles

You are adaptable and excel in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly

Experience with Rails, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch is highly valued

Background in startup environments, possibly as a founder or early employee, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and versatility
