Comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex, or similar) to accelerate development
Proactively identify issues through monitoring and observability data. Then fix them, don't just flag them

Expectations timeline
1 Month
You'll complete onboarding covering our product, tech stack, infrastructure, and vision. You'll meet people across the company, get familiar with our codebase, and ship your first contributions. You'll start building context on how our customers use Hygraph and what matters most to them
3 Months
You'll be delivering features and improvements to production with confidence. You'll have a solid understanding of Hygraph's product and architecture, and you'll be contributing ideas, not just code. You'll have built working relationships with your team lead, PMs, designers, and fellow engineers through regular 1:1s, operational reviews, and day-to-day collaboration
6 Months
By now, you'll be making significant contributions to both the product and the team. You'll bring fresh perspectives from your experience and help raise the bar across performance, architecture, and how we work. You'll be someone the team relies on. Not because you do everything, but because you make everyone around you better
